Browser settings for Firefox 22.0 and below for PC

Rakuten LinkShare supports Firefox 22.0 and below, but we recommend that publishers use Internet Explorer 9 when accessing your account.

If you are using Firefox and are having problems registering with Rakuten LinkShare or logging into Rakuten LinkShare, you may need to adjust your browser settings. Please try these instructions:

If you are having problems registering:

  1. Click on Tools
  2. Select Options
  3. Click on Privacy
  4. Set "Firefox will" to "Use Custom Settings for History"
  5. If "Accept Cookies from Sites" is not checked, click Exceptions; in the "Address of Website" field, add linksynergy.com; and check "Allow".
  6. If "Accept Cookies from Sites" is checked, click Exceptions and make sure that linksynergy.com is not among the blocked sites. If it is blocked, select it and check "Allow" 
  7. Click Close, then OK
  8. Restart your browser

If you're having problems logging in:

I. Allow Rakuten LinkShare Cookies:

  1. Go to Tools
  2. Click Options
  3. Click on Privacy tab
  4. Set "Firefox will" to "Use Custom Settings for History"
  5. If "Accept Cookies from Sites" is not checked, click Exceptions; in the "Address of Website" field, add linksynergy.com; and check "Allow".
  6. If "Accept Cookies from Sites" is checked, click Exceptions and make sure that linksynergy.com is not among the blocked sites. If it is blocked, select it and check "Allow" 
  7. Click Close, then OK

II. Clear the Cache:

  1. Go to Tools
  2. Select Options
  3. Click Advanced 
  4. Click on the Network tab
  5. In the "Offline Storage" section, click Clear Now 
  6. Click OK

III. Adjust Advanced Settings:

  1. Go to Tools
  2. Click on Options
  3. Click on the Advanced icon
  4. Select the Encryption tab
  5. Under "Protocols," check "Use SSL 3.0" and "Use TLS 1.0"

This completes your browser adjustment. Please exit all the way out of the browser and then restart it. You may now access your Rakuten LinkShare account.
